Dehumanizing immigrants continues

One cold winter morning in January 1948, 32 passengers were killed when a plane crashed in Los Gatos Canyon, near the Central Valley town of Coalinga.

This incident was immortalized in a Woody Guthrie song “Just Deportee”.

One person’s response to the possibility of immigrants being removed once the new administration gets underway was to record the following version of that song.
